Ingredients
  

  • - 1 cup 226g unsalted butter, softened
  • - 1 cup 200g granulated sugar
  • - 1 cup 220g packed brown sugar
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 3 cups 375g all-purpose flour
  • - 1 tsp baking soda
  • - 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • - 1/2 tsp salt
  • - 2 cups 340g chocolate chips

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and add vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
