The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies
A quick and easy treat boasting soft, chewy centers and plenty of chocolate in every bite. Perfect for sharing or savoring with a cold glass of milk.
Ingredients
- - 1 cup 226g unsalted butter, softened
- - 1 cup 200g granulated sugar
- - 1 cup 220g packed brown sugar
- - 2 large eggs
- - 2 tsp vanilla extract
- - 3 cups 375g all-purpose flour
- - 1 tsp baking soda
- - 1/2 tsp baking powder
- - 1/2 tsp salt
- - 2 cups 340g chocolate chips

- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
